Geffen Nonprofit Solutions provides dedicated and professional consultation services to emerging nonprofit organizations in Israel.
I’m Sivan Geffen, the founder of Geffen Nonprofit Solutions.
I’m an American-Israeli nonprofit professional who has spent the past several years working with organizations in both the United States and Israel, across fundraising, communications, operations, and strategy. I’ve lived and worked in Boston, Manhattan, and Jerusalem, and have had the opportunity to see nonprofit organizations from a range of perspectives, cultures, and stages of development.
I hold a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from Brandeis University’s Hornstein Jewish Professional Leadership Program, along with Data Analyst and AI Analyst certificates from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Nonprofits bring together inspiring people, important ideas, and a desire to create meaningful change and I believe those organizations deserve the strongest possible infrastructure behind them. I have enormous respect for people who choose to dedicate their careers to making their communities and the wider world better.
I’m passionate about well-written donor communications, thoughtful strategy, and efficiently-run organizations. I love taking complex ideas and turning them into clear, compelling writing that helps people understand an organization’s work and want to support it. And I thrive on finding the systems, processes, and strategic improvements that allow a nonprofit to spend less energy struggling with how to operate and more energy actually achieving its mission.
